Friday Favorites & Link Love
Happy Friday to you! I hope you have some fun weekend plans on your agenda. My parents are coming to visit and we are going to be working on updating our antique booth. My dad is bringing lots of furniture goodies! I wanted to share with you some healthy food favorites from this week as well as some favorite blog posts from other bloggers.
If you are looking to do some healthy meal planning over the weekend here are some ideas of recipes I tried out for our lunches/dinners for the week.
I made (6) Paleo Greek Chicken Bowls for us to share for lunches for the week// Recipe --> Greek Healthy Meal Prep
We also had this for (2) nights of dinner, Pesto Chicken & Veggies. It was fresh and delicious! The nice thing is you only need 1 pan to cook it all in so it's easy clean up! Recipe --> Pesto Chicken & Veggies
I was going to make my own Tzatkiki sauce for the Greek bowls but after I found this at Publix and it tasted great- I decided to save time and buy this instead!
I love Kombucha and while I know the probiotics in it are good for you, I'm really trying to use the fizz and flavor as a wine replacement during the week. This brand Big Eazy Bucha is my new favorite- Publix and Fresh Market carry it! It's actually made in New Orleans only a couple hours from here :)
I love my coffee in the mornings but sometimes when I'm rushing to get ready for work I want to bring it with me. I bought this pretty Corksicle mug and have been using it to keep my coffee hot for hours.
Link Love // My favorite blog posts from around the web of Fitness, Flavor & Finds!
Fitness // Yoga Booty Workout
I love the Tone It Up girls- duh body goals! They share so much for free on their site and this 50 minute Yoga Booty workout looks amazing! I'm going to be trying it soon and I'll report back. If you are looking for an at home toning workout give this a try!
Flavor // Peanut Butter Protein Acai Bowls
Give me all the Acai bowls! We have a few places around town that offer them but you can spend a pretty penny on buying them frequently :) If you are wanting to test your Acai Bowl skills, you can buy the Acai in the freezer section of most grocery stores. They are delicious and I'm excited to try this peanut butter version!
Finds // Coin Jar Date Night
My oh so cute friend Kristen shared a great idea for couples or families to do a Coin Jar Date Night! I know we have change hiding in corners of our home and cars that would add up for at least a fro-yo date night! Check out her blog to hear about her Coin Jar date night experience.
Isn't she just darling?
I hope you all found some inspiration for a healthy lifestyle! Enjoy your weekend and soak up some sun!
