Good morning! Happy Wednesday to you! It’s time for a coffee chat, so grab your favorite cup of coffee and join me for a virtual coffee date.

One of my favorite things to do is have coffee with a friend or someone to catch up and share with each other. This summer two of my girlfriends and I read a book together and met up on Tuesday mornings to share what we learned. it ended up being more sharing about other things than the book but it was SO good for me and a great way to encourage each other. If you are looking to grow and such, plan a motivational book club with some people and see where it goes! I’ve only had great experiences and made great friends along the way.

Anyways, if WE were having coffee today I would tell YOU, I have finally come to a place of peace and rest in my soul. I struggled a lot last year with anxiety and stress. it was making a huge impact on my happiness, health and marriage. Through a lot of personal development, counseling, prayer and diligence, I have found solutions that work for me. I will be sharing a blog post soon about this journey but for now I’d like to say to you, if you feel overwhelmed by stress and anxiety, you can find peace too. The journey is hard but it’s worth it. More to come on that subject…

If we were having coffee today I would tell you, I just finished up teaching middle school girls at Light of the Village summer camp. We talked about loving ourselves, loving others and more. It was great practice for me to speak in front of others and I had the blessing of getting to know some of the girls. You never know what kind of impact you can have on one person.

If we were having coffee I would tell you, I’ve been working with a non-profit called Konbit Haiti since May. I am doing marketing, one of my passions, and have been helping with branding and promoting their organization. They are an organization focused on helping communities thrive in Haiti and one of their areas of focus is a women’s sewing program. They make Upcycled Market Totes and I am helping sell them here in the U.S. I have been blessed most by the friendship I have gained with the founder Stephanie and her husband Ryan. They are truly self-less people who have inspired me in so many ways. If you’d like to see more of our products check out our website! Konbithaiti.org/shop and I’m doing a giveaway on my Instagram now if you’d like to enter to win one!

If we were having coffee I would tell you, I have had a summer romance with Acai bowls. There is a place called Soul Bowlz 10 min from our house so my husband and I have made it a weekly tradition. I finally bought Sambazon açaí packs at the grocery and made my own! They were delicious. You can see my recipe on Instagram.

If we were having coffee I would tell you, I’m excited to start a new fitness program! It starts Monday and is a 45 day fitness program you can do from home! You just need dumbbells and some space to move a little. If you are interested here is the link! Kelsey has been a fitness inspiration for me in the last few months and I’ve been doing a lot of her Instagram workouts in my garage. You can sign up here for her fitness program.
